Auto Repair in Fremont

After an unpleasant experience at the short lived Fremont Subaru dealership, my neighbor recommended Dorsos'. I'm so glad I took the advice.Dorsos has been servicing our cars for approximately 12 years. (My husband owns a 98' Ford Explorer). My husband and I each take care of our own car transactions including purchase, maintenance and finance decisions. I've never gotten the classic mechanic "attitude" from Dorsos'. They treat us both equally.When my 1999 Subaru begin to suffer from overheating, Dorsos' couldn't quite pinpoint the problem. They performed a logical progression of repairs that ultimately resulted in the recommendation that I replace the engine. They suggested the cheaper route of rebuilding the engine and gave me a referral to another shop since they don't perform this type of work.Despite their recommendation that the Subaru still had life I decided to buy a new car. Dorsos' made a few recommendations including Hyundai which I ultimately purchased. Would never even have considered Hyundai if it weren't for Rick and Joe. Very happy with choice and of course I bring it here for service.If you're looking for honesty, excellent customer service and superb repairs in a mechanic, take your car here. Yeah, they're a little more expensive than most but I'm more than happy to support their race car expenses.

Hi.....just thought i would take a minute to comment...you added a additive to the gas tank..dont know what it was but i got excellent mileage on my recent trip to the high sierras.Thanks...always happy with my ''visit''with you guys!! marilyn

We are long time, loyal customers of Dorso's. They are very honest, totally reliable and knowledgeable, and always helpful and friendly. We have referred friends and family to them over the years, also. Another thing I appreciate about Dorso's is that their staff and mechanics are long time employees, and turnover is rare. We can depend on quality work every time we bring one of our cars. When one of our cars is in for an oil change, I walk a block to Suju's for coffee, or Dales Hardware while my car is being serviced. We totally trust Dorso's for all our auto needs.

Dorso's is by far the best repair service in the area. Always on time repair, excellent customer service. Any questions are answered right away and everyone communicates any problems that come along. Would recommend using Dorso's for any car problems.
